Do I Qualify?

The course entry requirements are listed below. You already know the basics. If you are ready to take the next step up in your Marketing knowledge, then you should meet the qualifying criteria.

What You Need

One or more of the following is required to gain entry onto this module:

• Level 3 Introductory or Foundation Certificate in Marketing
• Any relevant Level 3 qualification
• Any UK degree or international equivalent
• International Baccalaureate (equivalent to NQF Level 3 and above)
• Professional practice (suggested one year in a marketing role) plus diagnostic assessment onto Level 4

So What Is It All About?

To achieve a Certificate in Professional Marketing, you must pass TWO mandatory modules and ONE elective module. If time is restrictive each module can also be taken and passed as a singular award rather than completing all three for the certification.

The Course Explained

Each module can be achieved as a distinct, self-contained award which can be built up to attain the full certificate. To achieve the qualification, a pass in BOTH mandatory modules is required and ONE elective is required.

Marketing (mandatory)
The role and function of marketing, as well as what influences the behaviour of customers. You will be able to apply and adapt a marketing mix to satisfy customer needs.

Integrated Communications (mandatory)
The many different ways of communicating with customers, internal and external to the organisation.

And then you will have the choice of two electives:

Customer Experience (elective)
Understand all aspects of your customers’ experience. Monitor and measure satisfaction, making appropriate improvements as necessary.

Digital Marketing (elective)
How to apply practical knowledge, including the effective use of a digital marketing toolkit.

How Little Will It Cost?

The costs are broken down into two components - Those attributed to the awarding body and those attributed us, Marketing Study Lab which we keep working very hard to make sure are the most economical around.

Single Module: £320

Other than the investment you will be making when signing up to a Marketing Study Lab course, the additional costs that you will need to consider before committing to anything are as follows (unfortunately we have no control over these)!

Total assessment fees: £435

*We advise taking at least 18 months to complete this course. This will give you the best chance to complete each module at the first attempt (which we know you will)! Taking this into consideration, the total cost for the Certificate in Professional Marketing would be: £1,355
