Do I Qualify?

The course entry requirements are listed below. You already have a good grasp for Marketing knowledge, theory and application. If you are ready to take the next step up in your Strategic Marketing knowledge, then you should meet the qualifying criteria.

What You Need

One or more of the following is required to gain entry onto this module:

• CIM Level 4 Professional Certificate in Marketing or Certificate in Professional Marketing
Foundation Degree in Business with Marketing
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, with at least one third of credits coming from marketing content
Professional practice (i.e. two years marketing in an operational role) plus diagnostic assessment onto Level 6

So What Is It All About?

To achieve the CIM Level 6 Diploma in Professional Marketing, you must pass TWO mandatory modules and ONE elective module. If time is restrictive each module can also be taken and passed as a singular award rather than completing all three for the Level 6 certification.

The Course Explained

Each module can be achieved as a distinct, self-contained award which can be built up to attain the full certificate. To achieve the qualification, a pass in BOTH mandatory modules is required and ONE elective is required.

Satratgic Marketing (mandatory)
How to take a strategic approach in marketing planning to achieve competitive advantage.

Mastering Metrics (mandatory)
Examines the importance of managing marketing data in effective marketing decision making. It presents the role of marketing metrics within the organisation and establishes how an understanding of a range of measurement techniques can enable organisations to achieve marketing insights and strategic decision making.

And then you will have the choice of two electives:

Driving Innovation (elective)
The importance of how taking a visionary approach, and embedding innovation, can help organisations deal with the challenges of a fast-moving marketplace.

Digital Strategy (elective)
An insight into how organisations can implement digital marketing capabilities into strategic marketing planning.

How Little Will It Cost?

The costs are broken down into two components - Those attributed to the CIM (these are payable to the CIM, of which we have no control over) and those attributed us, Marketing Study Lab which we keep working very hard to make sure are the most economical around.

Complete Course: £995
Single Module: £345

Other than the investment you will be making when signing up to a Marketing Study Lab course, the additional costs that you will need to consider before committing to anything are as follows (unfortunately we have no control over these)!

Other costs payable to CIM:
Annual registration fee: £60*
Total assessment fees: £555

*We advise taking at least 18 months to complete this course. This will give you the best chance to complete each module at the first attempt (which we know you will)! Taking this into consideration, the total cost for the CIM Level 6 Diploma in Professional Marketing would be: £1,670
